Australian Graduate School of Management
AGSM is launching a scholarship up to the
value of $25,000 for members of the Academy Graduates Association (AGA) to
undertake AGSM’s full-time MBA program. AGA members are graduates of the
Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA). The scholarship will allow
academically and professionally outstanding AGA members to complete AGSM’s
full-time MBA Program.
AGSM Acting Dean, Professor Eddie Anderson said: “The Scholarship will
greatly assist ADFA graduates who are completing AGSM’s MBA and help them
accelerate their career within the military or transition from military
service into a new career.
“The combination of AGSM’s MBA program and their military training and
experience gives them a great boost in the job market. A number of ADFA
graduates have completed their MBA at AGSM during the last few years and
have gone onto very successful post-MBA careers,” says Professor Anderson.
AGSM alumnus and ADFA graduate David Schofield said: “This scholarship will
provide recipients with a financially feasible way to change or accelerate
their career. Working with internationally recognised faculty and
exceptional students from Australia and overseas will challenge and develop
the recipient both personally and professionally in preparation for a new
phase of their career.”
